About: As part of the Sarnia Vegfest organizing committee, I was in charge of brand creation, web design, and web development.
The curator of the event wanted the site to have a clean, crisp look but also promote a fun family friendly environment.
The site required 3 different designs, for desktop, tablet and mobile.
The mobile site was extremely important in this case, as Veg Fest is a new event and most users of the site will be viewing it on the go on their phones and need immediate information easily accessible.

Role: motion designer/marketing team member
Tools used: Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, PremierePro
About: As part of 5-person team, we created a marketing campaign for beadonor.ca. The goal was the engage others to become organ donors.
Our team came up with the hashtag "#2MINUTES8LIVES" as the main facet of our campaign. We focused on how quick and easy becoming an organ donor is.
The "quick and easy" idea is represented through our website being simple and easy to use, as well in all of our marketing materials.
As the motion designer, I created videos to mirror our marketing plan. Here is a quick 20-second video that will be used for quick promotion of the campaign.
This video is a little bit longer, but focuses more on how little time it takes to become an organ donor.
An additional part of our campaign features 2 minute stories of people whose lives have been affected by organ donation.
Here's an example of one of the videos from the 2 minute story segment of our campaign.

About: Using the Sarnia Vegfest as an example, I want to guide you through my logo process.
The client wanted a logo for a vegan festival, and she wanted the logo to represent Sarnia as a city. The two vegetables most commonly grown in Sarnia, are carrots and beets. So that's where I started.
The client asked for something that represented the city and little better. After some research, I discovered Sarnia is known for the iconic Bluewater Bridge, so I decided to attempted to incorporate that into the logo.
The next set of logos came out wonderfully, and encompassed both veganism and the City of Sarnia.
In the end, the client decided that the logos were too industrial for the idea of a vegan, family, food festival. The client suggested a watermelon, as the fruit is very light and happy. We added in a less-harsh font to represent the wholesome ideals the client was looking for.
The final decision was made with this logo:
